Meet Helen

Hello! My name is Dr Helen Hanna and I am an academic, originally from the UK.

My specialism is in education, migration, diversity and inclusion, as well as creative research methods. I am passionate about ensuring that all learners find a place in education where they can belong and thrive, and I believe being creative in the methods we use as researchers and educators can help. I am also committed to encouraging others to go outside of their comfort zones and try out different research methods, finding the best ones to address the most pressing of concerns in education. For me, this particularly means working alongside early career researchers and teachers, so that we can all learn from each other. I have conducted research in England, South Africa, Northern Ireland, Israel, Kenya, Canada and China.

If you are passionate about any - or all! - of these things, then I'd love to be in touch with you, so do please get in touch.
